I just purchased an 01 cabby from my neighbor. It was her daily commuter of about 50 miles daily. It has 135000 on it and with my new job I drive 120 miles daily. This is cheaper than my 3/4 duramax to drive that far. I am new to this car and its quirks and needs. I am sorry if I am ingorant on this, but it is a cloth convertible.
Couple of things please, it had been garage kept up til two years ago. What do I need to do to service or maintain the cloth? Both door windows have a couple of small drips when it rains. Is there new weather stripping available or how is the best way to address this? It is a 4 speed auto. I want to get the trans serviced. I normally do all of my own service and tune ups and brakes. Any directions or things i should know about? I really appreciate all of your help and consideration.
