Default 98' Polo starts but won't go

Hi, before i goes to the problems of my car I will just start by telling you a littel about the car, it's a 1998 Polo variant 1.4 petrol.

I've got some problems with the car starting. The battery is 100% charged so I can hear the start engine going an the car starting. To here every thing is fine, but the engine does not run for more than 5second, you hear the engine start than dies.

I'm ues to working on cars, but engines that does not start ain't one of my good sides.
What I've have tried:
-Checking fuses
-replaced bad fuses
-charing the battery
-trying every key to the car
-starting the car by pushing it in gear

is there any thin more I could check on the car, or what should I do?

I guess if there are no electrical issues, you should inspect fuel delivery elements. From what you've described, it seems that the engine is not getting enough fuel. Try cleaning the fuel and air filter. Check the fuel pump and fuel injector also.

Bingo ! Agreed with JMarshall. Might be the problem regarding the fuel, otherwise if the battery is charged, all the fuse wires have been changed, the car has been tried to start in the gear, then why doesn't it show up ? Instead of that a well trained mechanic from the authorized dealer should be referred, for this thing.
