Default Cold air from passenger footwell

I’ve been having an issue with cold air coming through my passenger side footwell on my 2007 Jetta 2.5. Heat works ok on dash and vents and even drivers feet but only cool at best for passenger side. I’ve changed the thermostat and changed the cabin filter. Door was completely missing from cabin filter so for temporary fix I sealed new filter in place with foil tape. Still having same issue. Does anyone have any ideas what to try next? We hate having cold feet!

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

How long is a piece of string? We don't know the history of what has been done.

I'm not sure how the heating system is controlled on a 2007 Jetta if its electronic or cable. Check to see if the flaps moved when you change direction of the air flow.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
