Just bought 2012 Jetta. A/C blows but air is cool and not cold. Got the pressure checked and they said it was fine. Compressor is engaged but cold air not making it to cabin. I'm not very car saavy but want to see if this is a common problem and what might be the issue. 2012 Jetta SE 2.5. Thanks?

 

It may be that the compressor is weak. That is the case with mine, a 2013 Jetta SE 2.5. The air conditioner puts out cool air which is fine at night and when it rains. It dehumidifies but is not cold as it should be.

 

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.
