94 vr6 fuel pump issue

94 vr6 fuel pump issue
have 94 jetta with vr6, rpms wont go over 1500. it will idle fine, but will start stalling and acting as if its not getting gas if under load. i wld like to check its fuel pressure, any advice? i believe its the fuel pump but open to suggestions
