Goodmorning to everybody,

I’am a new member of this forum and I have some questions for you about the DPF filter on Volkswagen’s diesel , and precisely about GOLF 6 2.0 TDI DSG, this is the next car I would buy.


At the moment my car is a POLO TDI 1.4 with more less 110.000 km : never problems !!! (and this is the same result for my parents and frinds with passat or golf or seat Ibiza ecc…. All TDI ).



Now, I want to buy the new Golf TDI with automatic gear DSG but I see that there are some problem in the short distance (my polo sleeping in the garage, and to go/come back from work I don’t drive over 4 km at a time).
I omit the benzine because thre is the DSG only on the little 1.4 TSI or on the extreme GTI or 4motion.


Ordering it today, should arrive in that version of Golf that call my2012, which is more updated? That there are still problems with the DPF, someone has already shared these experiences?

Well I only use mine 70% local running and its only 4.5 miles to work. I do give it a blast up the motorway occasionally just to clean any crap out of the exhaust and my DPF light has never come on.
