So car has been perfectly fine no problems with clutch or gearbox. Started it up fine today and went to put it into gear and it wouldn’t go in any gears at all, went to put in in reverse and it wouldn’t go in would only grind. Turns the car off got my dad to have a look and he has jammed it into gear now and it won’t budge out. If I try to start the car with the clutch down it will just stall. Does anyone know what’s wrong?

You don't say which model though you have posted in Polo. What year, engine?

Get the clutch hydraulics checked out.
