Default performance mods/new car questions

I just got an 03 1.8t passat and I'm looking for some relatively cheap performance mods while I decide whether I will keep the car or get something faster. If you have any ideas for me please give specifics, like the best brand or website.

-What do you think about turning the boost up through the wastegate? How safe is it for the turbo?
-How reliable is the clutch? Car has 122k miles on factory clutch, which doesn't seem to slip.
-Are there any things I should do first for maintenance? (The timing chain was replaced at 100k miles)

Thanks!

Try going to www.ecstuning.com i have good success with these people and they are knowagable and friendly. They lots of mods. to choose from and the products are top notch. try looking at the race n75 valve will give you better power with out raising the boost, better for the turbo.

If you are thinking of boosting up your turbo i would suggest you look into some performance clutches.

I've heard good things about F1 Racing clutches that people have upgraded to, you can try going here
