Question bolt on performance mods for 2.0 8v

i have a 1999.5 jetta mk4 and was just lookin for some cheaper performance mods...what could i do to pep up my 2.sl0w ...l0l i figured on an intake, a header, an undrive pulley kit and a cat back exhuast, but what else is worth doing...how bout them performance chips by nuespeed or an aftermarket fuel rail or throttle body spacer or an aftermarket mass air flow sensor....whats worth doing to this hunk of junk l0l...wish i just had 2500 dollars and put in the nuespeed supercharger and dont tell me to just buy a 18t motor cuz if you do that you need a transmission and a ecu and all that crap so just throw some hints at me to point me in the right direction thankx

put a cold air K&N intake on with the good filter. Change the plugs to required O.E plugs along with coolant flush, oil change, wires, fuel filter. A complete tune up would astonish you no joke. Look into a high flow cat and muffler as well. That will free up some of that back pressure allowing your motor to breath and perform better.
