1999 VW Passat, 1.8T, 20 valve, AEB engine. Can the nut holding the oil cooler in place be removed with a standard socket and/or wrench? I need to replace the "O" ring asI have a massive oil leak. Does not appear to be gasket that mounts to engine at this point.

 

comes off very easy. theoil switch is above the cooler check that is isnt leaking
