Default oil in coolant fluid – oil cooler ?

Hi!
My car: VW Passat B5 (1.9TDi AJM 85kW 1999)
My problem: oil in coolant fluid

Possible causes:
-head of the engine (head gasket was changed recently)
-oil cooler

Any other possibilities?

So I detach oil cooler from the cooling system and clean coolant fluid. After few days I clean coolant fluid again (I guess rest of the oil which was circulating) and after that I did not find oil in coolant fluid anymore so I think problem was the oil cooler.

Now I should replace it but I have little dilemma about finding the right one.
See this picture – my oil cooler is on right:

In online catalogues I can find both as recommended for my car.

Even in ETKA catalogue is under passat schemes the left one:

Is possible that both oil coolers are fitting into my passat?

Here is one more picture from the Internet for comparison:

*my friend has left one in Golf IV and in my passat is that one in the middle

Default

Oil cooler replaced - I used same as was there before (with parallel leads).

I drove around 100km+ and no oil in coolant fluid and no oil losses from engine.

Problem solved - broken oil cooler.
