hello. i own a passat '98 1.8 i . i was wondering if any one knows if the 1.8t is a straight swap and a relatively easy engine change. can anyone advise me on how much is differant eg. brakes shocks driveshafts and bits.
i would be thankful for any advise on this please.

 

if its within the paramiters of being the same yes ..as far as ease of swap , not too bad easyest if you remove the core support and the it can be removed with out taking off the hood..
