Had three issues with my passat. car has 27000 miles on it. Just wanted to pass on the info. My emergency brake switch went bad. Covered by warranty. Funky smell coming out of the vents when I used the A/C. They said they would inject a chemical in the system to clean the vents and replace the cabin air filter, they had a TSB on the issue. And when I turned the rear defrost switch on the radio would get static. The said the rear glass needs replaced cause the defrost in the glass had a short or bad connection. Luckily was covered under warranty and the dealer was nice as pie about it.
