Default 01 Passat questions

Hello,

So i just had the notorious P0411 emission workshop error. So we found that it was a vacuum tude that was cracked. So we replaced that...

But now it seems that when i push the gas pedel its alot louder then it use to be... also when i go a short distance and turn off the car it kind of sounds like your turning a vacuum off... is this all normal..

Thanks in advanced
Crazyscott

Typically you will get that noise when you have a aftermarket air intake system or cone filter insead of the factory airbox. This is the noise of the engine after a compression stroke stops and backfeeds through the intake and out the filter. If thats what it is its nothing to worry about. Otherwise I would listen closer to the engine to see where its coming from.
