Vag Basic settings GONE WRONG!!
Hi everyoneI hope anyone would be able to help me out[&o]. I have a 1.8T Jetta 2001.Ok, this is what happened; I was TRYING to get a readiness code out my VAG-COM, I was on step 3; Matching Throttle Valve Control to the ECM, I couldn't hold steady the gas pedal, although it came out "ADP OK" and by the time I was about to begin step 4 the car went crazy and began to idle between 300 and 1000 rpm's back and forth without stopping. I hit the gas and it just died, and I noticed a huge gasoline smell. I checked for DTC's and it came out with;P1558 Throttle Actuator Electrical Malfunction
P1579 Idle Speed Contr. Throttle Pos. Adaptation not started, and P1545 Throttle Valve Control Module
Yeah, i swapped the Throttle Body with another one I had, but the same codes still were there, and no chance for erasing dtc's. I replaced it again with the old one and began checking on the electrical,I came across with the Power Supply Relay and unplugged it and plugged it back and all of the sudden all of the warning lights went off, eg EPC, Engine light. I went and erased DTC's and aligned TB and and turned on the engine, and like nothing would've happened!!!. It threw a Misfiring code whichI erased and never came back and for a week the car was running even better than what it did before (probably for the fact thatI cleaned that TB too) but after a week, it died again (EPC, Engine Light and that other signal that has a circle around it, they all came back) and this time i haven't been able to get it going........on block 60 it shows 15%, 84%, 0, and on the last one, instead of reading adp ok, it reads ERROR. I got a new relay thinking that could've explain that weird resetting that fixed it the first time, but that didn't work!!!...I also disconnected the 6 pin con from T Valve Control and it shows the 5V of the of 4.5Vmin required..............
I am thinking is the ECU and not anything else because the car ran fine for a week AFTER it threw those codes, but I barely know how to change the oil on my car
, so if theres ANYONE OUT THERE, please I NEED HELP[&:]
Thanks!!
