Default Throttle Positioning Sensor in 2004 Jetta GLS

Hi,

I had my mechanic look up the code for a dashboard warning light that came on last week. He told me the car needs a new Throttle Positioning Sensor. At the time, I had driven about 200 miles since the light went on, with no problems with the gas pedal/accelerating. The light did not come on yesterday when I started the car, and after driving about 30 miles is still off.

Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks,
PJ
