Default thinking i have a faulty throttle position sensor

i have a 1996 jetta gls
where the heck is the tps located on the throttle body? does it even have one? would it be in the electronic control module housing?

help would be greatly appreciated.

It does have it. But, is part of the TB control module. So, if goes bad, you have to get the whole TB. What's the problem your having with your car??

well a few months ago i decided to clean the throttle body and i took the whole thing off. when i put the thing back on i threw off a code about the idle being messed up. but then the code cleared and never came back but my car has been dragging *** ever since. the idle is nuts sometimes and it bucks while accelerating at random times.
