Picked up new 2019 Jetta SEL P. Navi shows car in Maxico. was told to drive for some miles to get it updated but did not change anything. Dealer is helping and requesting a visit but i live far from them and wanted to see if anyone on the forum has an idea of a fix.

so far i

rest all factory settings
change home address to USA and proper address
full shutdown of the unit by pressing power for 15 sec

The first character of the VIN number will tell you where it was made.

1 - Country of Origin

2 - Canada
3 - Mexico
4 - USA
9 - Brazil
J - Japan
K - Korea

W - Germany

I live in the states as mentioned in the original post, no need for more details to talk cars... car was made in Mexico as all new Jettas for NA, those this change anything ?
