Default KEY FOB alarm not working

This is driving me NUTS!!! The batteries died in my fobs.I replaced them but the fobs still not working.
I have looked at alot of forum's about this topic and havn't gotten anywere.

I have heard alot of different ways to reprogram the fob.
The latest one is

1: take the key that needs programmed put it in the ignition and turn it on
2: roll driver window down and insert valet key into door lock.
3: turn valet key to the lock position on the door lock and hold it there
4: press the unlock button on the key in the ignition and hold for 2 seconds.
release then press unlock again and hold for another 2 seconds.
You should hear the horn beep. Then that key will be programmed.

THIS DIDN'T WORK.

Also heard that you can just put the key into the driver door lock and press/hold either
lock or unlock button for 20-30 seconds and that will program it.. Guess what.

IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!!!!

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS

Were they working at some point? You can try resetting your ecu by disconnecting your battery cables and touching them together for about a minute. If that doesn't work you'll have to take them to the dealer to have them programmed.

The ecu keeps residual power in it and when you touch the cables together it drains the power from it.
