My daughter told me her car alarm went off the other night and she couldn't understand why it was doing it. I asked if she had pressed the alarm button and she told me the key fob has not worked in a couple of weeks. I was hoping maybe this has happened with somone else. I'm guessing the battery is dead in the fob. Can that be done at home or should I just contact my local volkswagon dealer and let them handle this? Thanks guy's.
