jetta GLI MK4 possible issues
I just bought a Jetta GLI mk4 with an intercooler, intake and BOV on it with 115k on it havnt really driven it much in 3 week and just got the radiator replace. i took it out for about 5 minutes today then let it idle for about 5, popped the hood and my engine was pretty hot is that normal?
Also would like to know of any general issues that these cars have or that they could have in the future, bought it for 7,500$ and have put 700$ into it already and really dont want to have to put much more into it unless its for after market things thank you.

Welcome to the forum. 
Engines do get hot is the temperature gauge showing its over hot?
PS - avoid using all red text its not really necessary.
