Jetta 1.8 T 2000. Timing belt broke. Broke off the bolt that holds the engine
Thhe timing belt broke. As a result of the break it actually broke off one of the bolts which attaches the engine to the body. Not sure how this can be repaired.
Assume this makes the engine structure unreliable. Any recommendations.
Thanks

You might try a high quality stud extractor and heatthe bolt upas much as possible. Or if you have or know someone that has a welding torch or someone in the hvac business they could melt the bolt out of there. The other option is to drill it out but then you would have to tap it to a bigger size.
Thanks Racerx002 for your suggestion. I will try the welding option ... I am not sure of the mount is broken ... I need to take it to another mechanic to get a better look at it..
Thanks
