So a buddy of mine in diesel here at school told me that hes 98% sure that he can sell me a 1.8 oil pan from 85 that should fit my 2003 2.0 jetta. any thoughts.. Im leaking oil out a stripped drain plug due to jiffy lubin, and its bad i need your advice asap if you can,,, thank you.

 

He's 100% wrong. You can use a tap and die to re-thread your plug and pan.
