Default Dead radio after charge

I have a 2002 Jetta. Last night I left my car lights on, and discovered a dead battery when I went to start the car this morning. I called AAA, who came out, charged the battery, and did a quick diagnostic test to ensure the battery was still viable, alternator was OK, etc. Everything was fine.

However, when I went to turn on the radio, nothing. It indicated the power was on, but it was stuck on one FM station (the one farthest to left, which I never listen to), it would not scan or change "dial" position, and no sound came out.

Can anyone tell me if there is a correlation? Do I call AAA to come out and take a look? I know the radio worked last night. Similiarly, when AAA came out to charge the battery the last time (bad habit I have, leaving the lights on), there was no radio problem afterwards.

Any feedback would be helpful--Thanks! Patrick
