Hi, I am having a hard time resolving this issue.... My 99 Jetta GLS 2.0 started having this problem after I let some @$#hole replace my plugs/wires. When you start the car after it has been sitting (cold), it has a very hard time starting and idling for about 30 sec. with revving the motor, almost as if it was running on 3 cylinders. It also has a strong fuel smell and keeps generating misfire codes P1300, PO300, PO301, & PO303. I have re changed the plugs, wires & the coil pack myself, and it still has the same problem. I have to smog this car but can't very well do that with what's going on for it WILL fail. Anybody have this problem ? My thoughts lead me to a faulty ECM..... HELP?
