I recently bought a 2011 VW Jetta S which came equipped with a RCD310 Stereo. There is a Bluetooth feature, however, it is not activating or is failing to be discoverable when searching on my phone. I do not have the box underneath the passenger seat, that others may have, which allows you to reset the Bluetooth.

Is this something I can activate via long code? Would I have to retrofit it another way? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am brand new VW owner.

If the Bluetooth module fitted under the passenger seat?

I have an RCD 310 in my Golf I done use Bluetooth as I'm driving.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
