Default 2000 Jetta tdi (!) light

OK I have a 2000 Jetta TDI. On the instrument cluster I keep getting an intermittent flashing parking brake symbol (!) when I start the car. The parking brake is released but the light keeps flashing even while driving. I have confirmed the the park brake is not engaged when this occurs. As well the ABS light is on as well. Anyone else have this similar problem please advise.

Thanks

I think that's the traction control light.
