Hi, I'm absolutely new to VW's, never owned a diesel before and new to this site. I just picked up a 2000 TDI and the check engine light is on. It seems to run good on straight aways but will not pull any hills. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

might be air flow meter
intake manafolds like to carbon up on the tdi
it restricts the air flow alot might want to have it checked out
air flows where on a recall
call the dealership and give them the vin # should be able to get it at a reduced price
have the codes read first
