Hi guys this is my first post on here, im wanting to swap the steering wheel on my mk 6 golf tsi

Lovely car but the steering wheel lets it down as its a bit weedy in hand and doesnt feel great.

I,d like to swap it for a multifuction type but im guessing this isnt exactly straight forward taking into account airbag compatability and also the electronics on the multifucntion steering wheel.

maybe im wrong and its just a straight swap but im guessing it isnt and thats why im on here!

What should i be aware of before i purchase a 300 pound steering wheel to find out its going to cost me lots more to get it done right?

by the way vw quoted me 1000 pound and advised me not to do it but surely it cant be that complicated in the right hands?
