hi,im new so dont know whether this is in right thread but,any1 had a similar problem,when i rev the car im only getting a small amount of volts to the battery,but when it idles it goes up,im thinking that the alternator is shagged but just thought id ask b4 i shell the brass,cheers,by the way top site!!!

 

You sure you don't have a belt thats slipping?
