First timer here looking to be pointed in the right direction. My son bought a 2000 golf 1.8T. It runs ok now that I got it running but, it has all the vacuum controls deleted. I went to a local euro shop and was told I need to put in a program to clear all the codes and update to a 3" exhaust. My son tells me if we go to 3" we will loose power. He also told me there already was a program in the car but, nothing comes up on the computer. Do I need 3" and program? Its a MK4 running a KO3 turbo. Everything is stock as far as I can tell. It has boost gauge and I put on a intake pipe to get rid of the aluminum restricted stock pipe. Im new to this euro stuff so please be kind. Thanks guys and gals.
