Hello.
Over the weekend I accidently hit a possum in my 2001 VW Beetle and cracked the power steering pump. I bought a new pump and my boyfriend replaced it for me. The only problem now is we cant seem to figure out how to put the serpentine belt back on. I have read a couple of things and all I have come up with is that there is a tab sticking straight up on the tensioner that you can pull back to relieve belt tension and then you put the belt back on from the top to the bottom (bottom being power steering pully). does this sound right?
