hi i have vw beetle model 1975 with 1300cc and manual transmation . now i have two quistions

1 - i have an original botton swich on and off behind the fuses box and when i turn it on . there are atf red light turning on too in the kilometer .

and now my quistion is what is this botton work or what it doing ???


2- where can i get a free manual or catalog for my vw beetle 1975 ??

 

might be a rear defrost switch they liked to hide them down there for some reson
