Default 1970 BEETLE HELP!!

I have a 1970 Beetle that I am going to sell but I need to replace the starter.Itsounded like a simple task, but that's not my luck at all! I got the old starter out and went to take the old bushing out, but it is very stuck. The bushing is worn down very badly (probably the original one) and is lodged in there at somewhat of an angle. I got a concreet fastener and got a good grip on it but it still won't budgethe slightestbit[&o]. Any suggestions?

Use a very small chisel an chip it away piece by piece.
The correct way is to use a special removal tool, I doubt is
no longer around.
