Default Disable Passenger Airbag

Hi,

I bought my partner a 2007 VW Fox, and we have just had a bouncing baby boy. We can't put his car seat in the front seat as there is a passenger airbag, though on most cars this can be disabled.

The VW dealer near us, vindis, doesn't seem to know how to or doesn't want to disable it for us. We have asked several times and they keep saying "er we aren't sure, we'll get back to you".

So I was wanting to know can it be disabled (and how) or what is the deal with it?

Thanks in advance

Ryan

Sometimes its in manufacturer defects comes because of fast check up. But its not a problem it can be solved through company products fittings.
