Hello everyone, My wife's mom just gave us what she thought was a '83 Rabbit GTI Convertible. I checked the VIN and it come back as a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. It hasn't run in over a year and we could get it to start after jumping it but it wouldn't stay running. Might need some gas. The interior is rough and the paint needs some work which I have the stuff to do hopefully correct the paint. Not sure where to start with it. I have looked for some interior stuff for it like the dash and stuff and had a hard time. Any suggestions? Anyways, hello from Kentucky and I am sure this won't be my last post.
