1982 Vanagon Westie for sale
1982 VW Vangaon Westfallia runs well!!
105600 miles
This is an automatic w/ air-cooled engine. Runs very well. Full camper w/ stove and sink. I am only selling because I teach and my next 3 summers will be so hectic I won’t get to use it, and it deserves better. I live at nearly 10,000 feet and it does okay here, but I have to pull over on steep roads for folks to get by. (This should not be news if you live in Colorado and have passed a Vanagon)
Canvas in the pop-top is in good shape, as are the curtains. The fridge, stove and sink all work very well.
I have original owners manual, as well as a rare repair guide book. Rebuilt engine and tranny from former owner- I’ve only had it year and put about 500 miles on it. It looks like it has AC, but I’ve never run it. It does not get above 80 degrees here.
Anyway, It gets great mileage for a little RV
I just got new tires with the side-walls recommended for these vans, a new battery, and new alternator. No leaks of any kind (oil, coolant, etc.) … I’m probably jinxing myself.
If you are looking for a fun camping van, this is the way to go. I hate parting with it, but like I said, it deserves a person who will take it on adventures.
Recent emissions testing passed with flying colors.
Please only call or email if you are interested. I live in Conifer, and you will have to drive to Conifer to see the van. 303-260-8149
I have some pictures, you can also go to craglist ad- http://denver.craigslist.org/car/335067529.html
