Just a quick question. I am getting ready to get new tires on my 02 Jetta Wagon. Everyone tells me "don't take your VW ANYWHERE other than the dealer!" And I don't plan to, but is that necessary for tires? Would there be any reason why I shouldn't take my car to AutoTire and avoid the huge dealer mark-up?

 

You can get tires anywhere you want!!! I go to Discount Tire and Les Schwab to get tires. I just got some new tires....Yoko's on the front, Toyo's on the back.

 

no it does not matter where you get your tires just as long as its done right, obviously put the tire on right, but also balancing it right, also depending on quality of tire the harder it may be to balance, so you dont have to get 150 dollar tires, but you just have to make sure its balanced right, otherwise you will feel that slight wobble in the steering wheel

 

is does not matter where you get them from just as long as you get some good tires you should be fine
