Default replacing rear brakes

I am trying to replace the rear disc brakes on my 2000 jetta. I can't get the piston to retract. Can anyone give me a tip?
i turned it clockwise, and tried using a c-clamp. It won't go.

Hi i am having the same problem. did you ever get an answer to how you get that piston back into the caliper. I know it screws in, the problem seems to be that the inner threads turn seperatly from the outer piston! Let me know! Thanx

loosen the plug you use to bleed the system. Haven't had a problem doing brakes as long as you're using the c-clamp
