For some reason, VW have made the seating on the T5 LWB Shuttles much less flexible than the T4 LWB Caravelle! In the T4 LWB Caravelle, the middle and back row of seats each had a seat that folded down to become a table. This was useful for carrying a family. It is also essential for us to be able to fold down at least one rear seat, so that we can fit a double bass in it without having to remove the rear row of seats.

So, can I fit T4 LWB Caravelle seats in a T5 LWB Transporter Shuttle? If so, is this easy/expensive, etc?

Also do any of you have any opinions on the wisdom and effectiveness of retro-fitting aircon to one of these?
