Greetings, this is my first post on the boards.

We recently purchased an '06 Passat 2.0T. As we've driven the car over the past couple of weeks we noticed the audio quality fluctuating. Not like a loose wire or bad speaker, or at least not like any bad speaker I've ever heard.

The audio will go from fantastically balanced & crisp to muffled and back again. Almost like someone slowly raising and lowering the levels.

We took our Passat to the dealer and they reset something in the computer. (Sorry I don't have the paperwork in front of me to be exact.) However the problem still exists.

Has anyone ever run into this before? I'm just trying to get as much information as possible when I take the car back to VW.
