OK, heres the story. 2001 Passat with the 1.8T motor. I get a really rough idle in when first started then it smooths out usually between 3 to 7 mins longer on cold mornings. Then when it is going down the road it doesn't wish to accelerate. This doesn't happen all the time but it does happen over 50% of the time. You step into the pedal and it just doesn't respond the RPMs don't go up then all of a sudden off you go!! Thanks for any help.
