97 Passat with the vr6. runs great but over the weekend I decided to clean the engine. I sprayed on engine degreaser and sprayed it with the hose. been almost a week now and it still runs really rough like on 5 cylinders. I checked all the connections and they are all tight what else should I be looking for

 

I think because of the degreaser..the friction is generated which is making the engine to rattle..you might wanna re spray some grease.
