Default Notification sound

Hello everyone!

my first post here.

i drive a volkswagen Passat 1.4 tsi from 2010

i have a question. Since today my car sometimes makes the notification sound on the dashboard. The kind of “ping” sound when it tells you your tire pressure is low for example.

i dont get any warning lights or notifications tho.
i have a aftermarket digital display, maybe thats why it doesn’t show any notifications.

when i read the codes with a obd2 scanner nothing shows up.

it also only happens at low speeds. When a 100km/h i dont get the ping sound. Only at low speeds driving through the city. It drives me crazy.

anyone know what it might be?

thanks!

Default Temperature?

Hi.
If you have more detailed description on when the ding happens it would be more helpful.
Could it be the outside temperature ? The car "dings" to notify when the temperature gets down to 4°C to notify that roads might be slippery. I have the oem instrument cluster so i am not sure how the aftermarket digital cluster works (Although I'd love to get one hehe) but could it be that?
Best Regards. David.
(p.s. where did you get the digital instrument cluster? And is Easy to replace the oem with the digital? Asking because i wouldn't mind getting one for my Passat)
