Guys, there's a new Passat variant called Passat BlueMotion. While this will be formally unveiled in March 2007, Volkswagen has revealed some of its features such as a reworked aerodynamic body and a three cylinder 1.4 direct injection turbodiesel engine.

According to Volkswagen, the new Passat will be the most fuel-efficient in its class and also one of the cleanest. If you remember, there is also a BlueMotion Polo introduced last year. Apparently, BlueMotion is the label Volkswagen gives to the most fuel-efficient and environment-friendly car in each series.
