Default help with Serpentine belt tensioner

So I've been hearing a a whining noise from the engine compartment for a while. It's gotten loud enough for me to take the time to fix it. As soon as I got under I could tell what it was with my face in front of it.
ECS has a few brands ranging from $41 to $133 for oem. Has anyone installed other than oem? And what do you think of it?
PS it's not the PS pump. No noise change when turning, precisely consistent with rpm.

Gaskets that are bad don't have big leaks that gush out like that. It is most likely a bad hose. In my honest opinion, it was bad on the mechanic's part to replace the intake gasket without doing a cooling system pressure test.
