Hard manual shift between 1st & 2nd
Hi
My first post here, as I'm a relatively new VW owner.
Bought a 2013 Passat highline TDI manual 6 months ago.
I love the car but I've gradually noticed that my shifting between 1st and 2nd is not so smooth. It's basically because it's quite a hard pull into 2nd gear, much more so than shifting into any other gear.
I was wondering if this is basically the standard with all cars of the type, or if this is something that should be looked into.

Welcome to the forum. 
Are you used to driving manual gearboxes?
Providing your pushing the clutch pedal down far enough there shouldn't be a problem.
If its under warranty take it to a dealer and see what they say.
