Default Footwell Lights

2007 Passat 2.0 Turbo:
In the on-screen menu in the car, there is a setting to turn on and adjust the footwell lighting in the car. It is on and set at 85%. However, the lights will not come on. I also cannot find a fuse to check in the manual.
Any thoughts on what I need to check to fix this issue?

Thank you

Just the same as your other post.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.

No errors showing that involve the footwell lights.
Only the gas cap.
Any other ideas on the footwell lights?
