Battery Drain on Passat 110 TDI Comfortline '97
Hi.
I have just bought a Passat 110 Variant TDI Comfortline from '97, and the battery is drained from full charge to 6V over night.
I have bought a new battery but that doesn't help anything. I have gone through all fuses and no issues there. I have turned off every lamp in the car so no drain from those.
The car has A/C and a webasto engine heater (but I haven't used it), and a original blaupunkt radio with navigation.
Can anyone please help me, I would be most greatfull
Thanks in advance

Update
So now I have found out that the battery was faulty and couldn't hold neither it's capacity nor its voltage.
I changed the battery to a new one, and the problem seemed solve.
BUT, now the battery is yet again discharged :-( I have tested the battery and it seems fine, so my only conclusion is that something is discharging the battery.
Any ideas? I have heart that the generator could cause discharging issues, any comments?
Thank you in advance

Hi.
It has been a while since I found out what the problem was. Firts of all I needed a new battery but even then my battery was drained occasionally. As it turned out it was a missing piece of plastic that prevent the water from running through my pollen filter and into the cabin, thus preventing every wire and electric component from being wet...
