I have a '98 passat with a front left headlight not working. I already replaced the bulb and it still does not work. The thing is someone stole my front left signal light, housing and bulb and all. So right now the plug is just hanging free. Could this be causing the headlight to not work as well? The the other thing is that I noticed the headlight was out before the signal light was stolen. So now I dont know if the old bulbnwas bar or if something else was wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

I think so there would be some loose wire or if these is not the problem then check the relay switch.
